Optimizing Property Assets

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to optimise the use and management of our property assets within our Synod. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assessing current property usage, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending strategies to maximise value and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. You will be responsible for performing detailed assessments of current property usage across all Church properties, analysing utilisation data to identify underutilised or inefficiently used properties and making recommendations for repurposing, consolidation or divestment.

You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance property value and functionality that align with our mission and objectives. This may involve developing and implementing strategies to optimise property use, working closely with our Property Team.

In addition, you will establish and review key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure property utilisation effectiveness, generate comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations and present findings to Church leadership and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be expected to maintain accurate records of property utilisation, data analysis and recommendations, and provide training and support on property utilisation best practices as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Detailed Assessments: Conduct thorough analyses of current property usage across all Church properties.
  • Analyse Utilisation Data: Identify underutilised or inefficiently used properties and make recommendations for repurposing, consolidation or divestment.
  • Develop Optimisation Strategies: Work collaboratively with the Property Team to develop and implement strategies to maximise property value and efficiency.
  • Establish KPIs: Develop and review key performance indicators to measure property utilisation effectiveness.
  • Generate Reports: Produce comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations and present findings to Church leadership and stakeholders.
