Highly Skilled Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll professional ready to take on their next challenge and make a real impact.
Job SummaryThis role involves processing medium-high volume payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies. It also includes maintaining and updating accurate payroll data, including data collection and entry.
Main Responsibilities:- Process calculations including back-payments, redundancy calculations, terminations and leave entitlements.
- Provide support and guidance to employees on payroll-related matters.
- Collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll related queries.
- Support the Payroll Helpdesk as required and ensure that tickets are resolved in a timely manner.
- Previous experience in a similar Payroll Officer position within a medium/large scale business.
- Understanding of and experience interpreting multiple Awards/EBAs.
- High level attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex matters in a simplified manner.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work within a fast paced environment.
