Pilbara Minerals is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to develop their skills and contribute to the success of our mining operation.

The estimated salary for this position is between $110,000 and $140,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description
  • Main Responsibilities:

Planning and Scheduling: The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for providing effective maintenance planning and scheduling functions, ensuring well-planned work orders are executed through our computerized maintenance management system (Pronto).

Maintenance Planning: The successful candidate will plan mechanical and electrical fixed-plant maintenance tasks within the processing plant, in accordance with established maintenance procedures.

Scheduling: They will also be responsible for scheduling the work they have planned, taking into account labor availability and plant production requirements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to set KPI targets for work order completion, breakdown maintenance minimization, and cost control.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Work Management Experience: Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment.
  • MS Office and Project Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office and project management software, including Pronto.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Cost Control: Ability to monitor and control costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances, ensuring seamless delivery of maintenance services.

Other Requirements:

  • C class Driver's License: A valid C class driver's license is essential for this role.
  • WA State Certification: Compliance with all relevant state certifications and regulations.
