Financial Crime Analyst Position

This critical role is a vital component of our organization's mission to safeguard customers and communities from financial crimes. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal part in this endeavor.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Identify and evaluate system-generated alerts within specified service level agreements (SLAs). This includes AML and sanctions-related notifications.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into identified anomalies, taking ownership of the process from start to finish. This involves creating risk assessment reports and providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by supporting colleagues with coverage in areas of need, thereby gaining exposure to diverse stakeholders and investigative scenarios.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Financial Crime Risk Management, preferably coupled with knowledge of related processes and procedures within the financial sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective engagement with varied stakeholders and creation of formal reports.
  • Able to make informed decisions and recommendations while recognizing when escalation is necessary.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with high workloads, prioritizing tasks, and managing pressures with minimal supervision.
  • Succinctly adapt to shifting priorities and task assignments while maintaining productivity levels and quality standards.
