**Pre Departure and Settlement Services Officer Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre Departure and Settlement Services Officer to lead the delivery of pre-departure support under the Pacific Engagement Visa initiative. The successful candidate will have expertise in migrant, pre-departure, and settlement services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-departure and settlement services across the Pacific and Timor-Leste.
  • Develop and deliver resources, briefings, and training for in-country teams.
  • Collaborate with program partners and government stakeholders.
  • Deliver engaging webinars and workshops to help people prepare for their departure to and life in Australia.
  • Provide tailored support to PEV holders about access to services in Australia.
  • Provide advice on people movement challenges and barriers to settlement.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A deep understanding of the migrant journey and its challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Confidence in managing stakeholders in complex, multi-country projects.
  • Strong organisational and project governance skills.
