The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced paralegal to join our litigation team in Leichhardt. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to our General Counsel and team in managing litigation schedules, preparing reports, and liaising with external lawyers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with 3+ years of experience in commercial or insurance litigation to join a collaborative and supportive environment that values growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with factual investigations by seeking and reviewing records
  • Review and collate records responsive to subpoenas
  • Maintain litigation schedules and prepare reports
  • Liaise with external lawyers and internal teams to finalise settlements
  • Assist with investigations, subpoenas, and document management
  • Provide support on contract reviews and other legal administration
  • Collate briefs to external lawyers
  • Assist with requests from other offices, external agencies, and the police regarding professional matters
Requirements
  • 3+ years' paralegal experience in litigation is essential (insurance litigation preferred)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
  • Knowledge of e-Discovery software (Nuix or similar)
  • If you're a law student, you'll need to satisfy the experience above AND have at least 2-3 years left of your degree
  • This is a permanent role, so you'll need to have unrestricted working rights in Australia
