We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement and manage scalable cloud infrastructure environments. As a key technical role, you will lead automation initiatives, drive infrastructure as code practices, and help shape the future of our IT operations.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to modernize infrastructure, automate service delivery, and support critical operations across various business areas.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing cloud frameworks aligned with industry standards, developing policies, and implementing automation to support enterprise-scale cloud adoption and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud governance frameworks including policy design, naming conventions, tagging strategies, cost management, and compliance monitoring.
  • Define and enforce cloud policy and management group hierarchies across enterprise subscriptions.
  • Build AI-driven and automated self-service provisioning solutions using tools such as Azure Automation, Azure Open AI, and Logic Apps.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using PowerShell, Bicep, and Terraform.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and security teams to ensure alignment with industry standards and enterprise requirements.
  • Support and enhance BAU (Business-as-Usual) cloud infrastructure operations, including monitoring, patching, and environment lifecycle management.
  • Apply foundational systems administration skills across Windows, Linux, and Active Directory to troubleshoot and support cloud-hosted workloads.
  • Continuously improve internal processes, reusable templates, and automation patterns to drive operational efficiency.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers, lead technical workshops, and participate in architecture review sessions.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Hands-on experience with cloud governance models, policy design, and management groups.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for cloud infrastructure design and implementation.
  • Experience building cloud landing zones, automation templates, and self-service environments.
  • Proficient in scripting with PowerShell, Bicep, and familiar with Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of core cloud services – compute, networking, identity, storage, monitoring, and security.
  • Familiarity with or exposure to AI-driven automation in the cloud.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling for infrastructure deployments.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration, along with Active Directory fundamentals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
