Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Accounting Leader to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in accounting and leadership to take on a key role in driving the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the accounting team with purpose and motivate them to perform at their best while fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Establish and nurture trusted partnerships with clients, colleagues, and team members to drive collaboration and long-term success.
  • Provide proactive insights and advice tailored to complex client needs, positioning yourself as a key partner in their success.
  • Partner with onshore and offshore teams to ensure delivery is compliant, meets financial and quality targets, and is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the technical expert in reconciliations, AP, AR, Payroll, BAS, IAS, month-end reconciliations, and management reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely management reporting with deadlines met.
  • Contribute to business development through networking, proposals, and presentations to potential new clients.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance team performance and technical competency within the accounting service offering.
About You
  • A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role in a professional services accounting firm.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring, managing, and inspiring teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
  • Exceptional business acumen to deliver value-add advice and meet growth targets.
  • A client-centric approach with the ability to manage large portfolios and deliver an exceptional end-to-end client experience.
  • Professional certification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
