Job Overview

  • Procurement Manager: A seasoned procurement professional is required to oversee school-wide procurement activities; identify and engage suppliers; develop contracts and vendor relationships; monitor budgets; ensure compliance with policies and legal frameworks; collaborate with teams to forecast needs; maintain procurement records and reporting; drive continuous improvement in procurement systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Teach students within an adaptable team under the leadership team for High School Teachers (7-12).
  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate education aligned with the NSW curriculum; foster development and create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment for Primary School Teachers (K-6).
  • Oversee school-wide procurement activities, including facilities, resources, IT, uniforms, and services; identify and engage suppliers; develop contracts and vendor relationships; monitor budgets; ensure compliance with policies and legal frameworks; collaborate with teams to forecast needs; maintain procurement records and reporting for Procurement Manager.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in an education setting.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing policies, budgeting, and supplier negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with procurement or finance software (XERO).
  • High ethical standards and attention to detail in regulated environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
