The Role

As a Support Worker in our Dulwich Hill Hub, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live independently. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through person-centred programs;
  • Working to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies;
  • Assisting and supporting clients with personal and hygiene care;
  • Maintenance of progress notes and record-keeping.

Your Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in the Disability sector and demonstrated knowledge of supporting high needs clients;
  • Able to support others with personal and hygiene care;
  • Personal qualities of resilience, empathy, and self-confidence;
  • High levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty, and respect.

What We Offer

Salary

We are offering a competitive salary of $65,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
