Theatre Operations Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic theatre technician to join our team. This new part-time role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting surgical teams and ensuring smooth theatre operations.

  • Assist with the setup and preparation of theatres before procedures.
  • Support CSSD activities, including cleaning and sterilizing equipment.
  • Aid in patient positioning to ensure comfort and safety.
  • Unpack and restock supplies in theatres and storage areas.
  • Assist with ordering and inventory management of theatre supplies.
  • Assist with theatre turnover between cases as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing, surgical, and support staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hospital or day surgery setting is highly regarded.
  • Certificate III in Sterilization Services (desired).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
