Our organisation is seeking a skilled Care Leader to play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating care provision, ensuring that individual needs are met and residents feel supported and valued.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering person-centred care. As a Care Leader, you will work closely with the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to ensure seamless care delivery across the home. Your expertise in coordinating care will be invaluable in ensuring that residents receive the best possible support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social and emotional support to all residents, ensuring that care provision is holistic and person-centred.
  • Support the coordination of care needs across the home, including medication management, nutrition, and hydration.
  • Lead and supervise care on the shift, within designated areas.
  • Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation, and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant diploma or certificate, such as Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
  • A high level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels, both orally and in writing.
  • The ability to understand and use information technology and programs, and learn new skills as required.
