Senior Architect Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.

In this role, you will be responsible for directing projects with supervision from a Technical Director, liaising with clients and mentoring team members. You will also establish project delivery strategies, develop project plans, QA plans and project resourcing, as well as establishing working briefs and budgets.

You will collaborate with other architects on designing and documenting projects across different typologies, direct technical performance on projects, carry out regular reviews and adhere to quality plans. Additionally, you will participate in local and national project design reviews.

Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Architecture is required. Registration with the Institute of Architects is preferred but can be assisted in becoming registered.
  • 7-10+ years relevant experience preferably in a consulting environment. Architectural design and documentation skills covering a broad range of project types and budgets are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and graphic presentation skills. Sound working knowledge and understanding of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Sound specification & contract writing skills related to the architectural practice. Proficient in Autodesk (Revit/Autocad), Sketchup, Microsoft office packages and Adobe.
  • Experience in Enscape and Lumion desirable. Passionate about Architecture and quality design. Strong design aesthetic.
