Senior Corporate Risk Manager

M&A Underwriter, Financial Lines
As an experienced M&A specialist with 5+ years of qualification in corporate finance or projects at a top-50 international law firm, you will be responsible for underwriting complex corporate transactions across Asia Pacific risks.
You will work closely with the APAC M&A Manager to deliver bespoke transaction insurance documents on high-value deals. Your primary focus will be on building strong, commercially successful relationships with M&A production and distribution sources, including brokers, investment banks, accountants, and private equity funds.
Key responsibilities include:
- Underwriting of corporate transactions across Asia Pacific risks (warranty & indemnity, fiscal event (tax), litigation buyout)
- Delivering timely and bespoke transaction insurance documents on high-risk deals
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with M&A production and distribution sources
Requirements:
- High competency in understanding complex corporate M&A transactions and drafting transaction documents
- Strong negotiation skills
- Specific knowledge of transactional legal exposures (warranty breaches, tax structuring issues, litigation and computation and measure of damages)
