Job Overview

This Category Manager Ict role is an exciting opportunity to partner with key stakeholders across the Information Technology category, leading and delivering end-to-end category activities.

  • Develop and drive the implementation of Procurement strategies, policies, and initiatives.
  • Drive strategic sourcing and cost-saving activities for ICT goods and services.
  • Deliver successful end-to-end tender processes within allotted timeframes.
  • Manage supplier negotiations and conduct supply market intelligence studies.
  • Lead contract performance and strategic relationship management activities to deliver safe, effective, and efficient outcomes for the organization.
  • Define and update procurement policies and procedures adopting best practices and ensuring business requirements are met.
  • Monitor compliance and implement continuous improvement on procurement processes, policies, and procedures.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience within a Category Manager/Procurement Manager/Senior Specialist role conducting pre- and post-award procurement activities.
  • Extensive experience managing ICT spend.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within a developing environment.
  • Passionate about delivering successful outcomes for stakeholders.
