Overview:

We are in search of experienced Conveyor Belt Technicians to become part of our dedicated team. The selected individuals will be tasked with executing conveyor belt splicing and repair work at multiple client sites across New South Wales.

This position demands meticulous attention to detail, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform conveyor belt splicing and repairs in accordance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Execute belt installations, including vulcanising and mechanical splicing as necessary.
  • Identify and troubleshoot conveyor belt issues, providing suitable recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Maintain precise records of work conducted and materials utilized.
  • Conduct general maintenance and inspections on conveyor belts and related components.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Conveyor Belt Technician or in a similar capacity within the mining or heavy industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of conveyor systems, splicing techniques, and repair methodologies.
  • Skilled in vulcanising and mechanical splicing methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work autonomously.
  • Dedication to workplace safety and adherence to established safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license and readiness to travel to various client locations as needed.

Desirable Certifications (not mandatory):
  • MR Driver's License
  • Forklift License
  • Dogging Certificate
  • Rigging Certificate
  • EWP
  • Confined Space / Working at Heights
