Aps 5 Configuration Officer

About the Role

The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering technical and non-technical configuration work within an integrated workforce. As a key member of the team, you will provide data administrative support and configuration knowledge to support non-technical and technical engineering activities.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing specialist or data administrative support that is informed and directed by your knowledge of the configuration management sub-function.
  • Ensuring quality and compliance with appropriate technical delegations commensurate with relevant legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.
  • Communicating with, responding and providing advice to a range of stakeholders on straightforward operational and administrative issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes.

We are a team of experts working on the Hunter Class Frigate project, one of the most advanced warships in the world. We work collaboratively to solve complex challenges in construction at the newly designed Osborne Naval Shipyard, utilising the latest production technologies.
