This role is part of our crew working out of Port Melbourne depot. In this role you will be dealing with tree root issues affecting infrastructure and buildings.

  • This role would suit anyone with a Horticulture, Arboriculture or Civil background looking for a new challenge.

The role offers long term career projection in a highly specialised area.

Key Tasks

Cut sealed surfaces using demo saws – removal and disposal

Operate air spade excavation tools

Manually, hydraulically, and mechanically excavate trenches

Ensure safe operation of demo saws and chainsaws

Perform open space maintenance tasks as required, including tree planting, watering, minor concrete and asphalt works

Capture images of all work, pre, during, and post-job

Support apprentices, tradespeople, and labourers in their roles

Maintain and operate equipment (trailers, trucks, excavators, Bobcats)

Requirements

Cert III in Horticulture, Arboriculture, or Landscaping

Valid Driver's Licence

MR/HR Licence

Chainsaw Certification

Spotter's Certification

Bobcat Licence

Hydro/NDD Experience

Police Check

Working With Children Card
