Lead Retail Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced retail professional to lead our store operations. As the Lead Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining high store standards.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve business objectives, including sales growth and profitability.
  • Manage store inventory levels, visual displays, campaigns, and promotions to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, trade partners, and internal stakeholders to drive sales growth and improve service delivery.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all staff adhere to safety procedures.
  • Recruit, onboard, and coach new team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Provide regular feedback, motivation, coaching, and development to team members to improve performance and engagement.
  • Inventory management and stock level adjustment to meet consumer demand and seasonal changes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
About the Role
  • Previous retail management experience with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a trusting team.
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships via strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence and organisational skills to delegate tasks and roles effectively.
  • Experience servicing both trade and retail customers and growing a business.
  • Demonstrated financial and strong business acumen such as understanding P&L reports, rostering, and controlling expenses.
  • Requirement for a driver's license and the capacity to perform manual tasks.
  • Ability to effectively handle conflict and work under pressuring timelines.
