The role of a Combat Management System Leader is to play a pivotal part in supporting the functional design, integration, delivery and certification of complex systems. You will provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to senior management, as well as lead engineering teams in the delivery of projects.

This includes leading the implementation of certification frameworks, providing technical advice and mentoring junior engineers, and liaising with regulatory authorities and policy areas within Defence.

You will work in a dynamic environment, offering a rewarding career in a leading organisation. We develop and deliver products into new shipbuilding programs and provide update/upgrade products to existing fleets.

  • Proven experience in project acquisition and product management within an Authorised Engineering Organisation.
  • Ability to lead engineering teams and provide strategic guidance.
  • A deep understanding of systems integration and technical architecture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and sustain strong working relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of certification plans for major systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and policy areas within Defence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements:
