Education Support Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Education Support Officer to join our team in an educational setting.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for providing support and advice to teachers and education staff, including professional learning and development opportunities.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks, including coordinating and supporting others in respect to general DIP and Inclusion practices.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to manage complex problems that form part of the policy framework.

This is a full-time position working within a dynamic and supportive environment where you will be responsible for supporting the educational services being provided to students.

The role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when interacting with students, staff, and external parties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and technical support to teachers and education staff
  • Coordinate and support others in respect to general DIP and Inclusion practices
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and external parties
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
