Restaurant Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Restaurant Manager to oversee our cafe operations in Adelaide, AU.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in leading teams and driving revenue growth through exceptional customer service and high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing daily operations, supervising staff, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Nurture a 'customer first' culture by leading by example and providing direction and coaching to the team.
  2. Drive revenue through consistency, service, and cleanliness by monitoring key performance indicators and making data-driven decisions.
  3. Work with the team to meet and exceed strategic, operational, and financial goals by prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
  4. Manage weekly rosters, timesheets, and labour controls to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  5. Complete weekly reporting and attend meetings to stay informed and provide updates on progress.
  6. Monitor purchase orders to ensure stock levels are maintained and received in a timely manner.
  7. Integrate company policies and procedures to ensure compliance across cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.
Requirements:
  • Be passionate about customer service and have a strong personality to match.
  • Demonstrate prior supervisory experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Demonstrate reliability and flexibility (ability to work weekends when required and adapt to a rotating roster).
  • Have or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor Certification and Certificate in Hospitality Management.
  • Be a nurturing and motivational leader with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have prior experience in rostering, managing stock levels, and labour costs.
  • Have unrestricted work rights in Australia.
