Lead Data Analyst Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and driven Lead Data Analyst to head up a small but growing analytics team.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role where you'll be both hands-on with data and strategic in shaping the company's data journey.

  • Lead a team of data analysts, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Develop and deliver data models, dashboards, and reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting platforms.
  • Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and operations teams to centralise and manage large, complex datasets.
  • Drive continuous improvement of data processes, governance, and analytical methodologies.
  • Champion the adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Data Analyst (ideally within logistics, transport, supply chain, or a similar data-rich environment).
  • Strong technical proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with large datasets, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern data warehouses.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and analytics best practices.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills with previous experience mentoring or managing analysts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
