Role Summary

  • Maintain the city's public parks and spaces as part of a casual landscaping team.

The successful candidate will have experience in mowing and gardening, hold a Construction Induction Card, and have undergone necessary safety training.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing garden and landscape maintenance tasks
  • Operating ride-on mowers and using gardening tools such as blowers and whipper snippers
  • Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Participating in litter picking and cleaning duties
  • Working effectively as part of a team and taking direction from supervisors
  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Essential mowing or gardening experience
  • Hold a Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Asbestos Awareness and Prevention of Silica Exposure training
  • Manual driver's license
