Store Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team. As a key leader, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience through strong leadership and ensuring quality management of store administrative processes and systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Build, coach and inspire your team to deliver outstanding results
  • Manage the financial performance of the store and forecast, plan and prioritize daily work and resource requirements
  • Implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and expenses and oversee safe and efficient inventory management practices across the store
  • Enhance the overall customer experience for your community by fostering strong relationships with team members, peers, customers, leaders, and business stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in either a big box or high-volume retail environment
  • Passion for delivering results that motivate your team
  • Values that reflect a high level of commitment to 'safety', always thinking 'customer' and constantly motivating your team to 'reach higher' every day
  • The ability to foster strong relationships with team members, peers, customers, leaders, and business stakeholders
  • Retail administration experience including rostering, stock management, and strategic planning
  • Safety leadership, having driven and championed safety initiatives in a high-volume environment
