Self Employment Assistance Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Self Employment Assistance Consultant to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive training and mentoring program to support participants in achieving their business goals. This will involve implementing marketing and networking strategies, assessing applicants to determine suitability for the program, assisting participants to develop a detailed business plan, providing personalized coaching and guidance, and monitoring financial viability of businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective marketing and networking strategies to engage potential participants
  • Evaluate applicants to determine suitability for the program based on relevant skills and experience
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to participants to help them achieve their business goals
  • Assist participants in developing a detailed business plan that meets government and industry standards
  • Monitor and report on the financial viability of businesses and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • Current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • MyGovID (Standard level)
  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Available to work full-time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in small business management
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as part of a professional team
  • Good computer skills across main applications and experience with online learning management systems
