Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) Platform Services team, you will be responsible for enabling teams to deliver value streams faster while ensuring platform reliability and resilience.

The mission is to support the organization by providing robust, scalable, and secure platform services. You will work closely with global teams across different regions to support daily operations and promote DevOps best practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Designing, building, and supporting Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions on cloud infrastructure
  • Provisioning and maintaining infrastructure for application teams across Linux and Windows environments
  • Driving platform stability, reliability, security, and performance through proactive engineering and support
  • Collaborating with global teams to support daily operations and promote DevOps best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps-related role for senior-level candidates
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Linux system engineering
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Salt
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Promtail, and Loki
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps tools like ArgoCD
  • Kubernetes administration experience is a strong advantage
  • Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture and Service Mesh
  • Experience with building and managing Windows-based infrastructure
  • Familiarity with artifact management tools such as JFrog Artifactory
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services, including EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, WAF, API Gateway, Lambda, ElastiCache, Elasticsearch, SQS, SNS, EKS, etc.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python
  • Experience with systems such as Kafka, Keycloak, Airflow, NiFi, Rentaho, Redis, PostgreSQL, etc.
