Property Maintenance Operative

Maintenance Operatives are integral to ensuring our properties remain safe and well-maintained. As a Property Maintenance Operative, you will play a vital role in carrying out maintenance services, responding to tenants' needs across our growing portfolio of properties.

You will work closely with the maintenance team to respond to all basic maintenance and repair issues in the buildings as highlighted by our property management department.

  • Undertake multi-disciplined types of maintenance both inside and outside our properties, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical checks, groundwork, and painting.
  • E nsure that works are performed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Perform tasks such as plumbing, electrics, decorating, moving heavy items, and basic repairs.
  • Assess void flats between tenancies and implement remedial works to kitchens and bathrooms as required.
  • C arry out any other reasonable duties as required by the Property Maintenance Team Leader or other senior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure properties remain in good condition.
  2. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants.
  3. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve goals and objectives.
  4. Continuously improve knowledge and skills to stay up-to-date with industry developments.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
