Description:

This role provides high-level strategic advice in relation to priority populations programs and the provision of equitable health and wellbeing outcomes.

The program manager will work as part of a management team across the equity and prevention service to address the health needs of priority populations. This involves managing women's and youth health clinical services, and developing effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage women's and youth health clinical services and develop effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide high-level strategic advice in relation to priority populations programs and the provision of equitable health and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Lead change and enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or related discipline or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead change and enhance staff performance.
  • Extensive knowledge of contemporary issues for priority populations.
  • Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills with a strong customer service approach.
