Job Title

An IT Security Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing robust security strategies for clients. The role involves supporting clients in meeting their security needs, from designing secure systems to creating and maintaining security frameworks.

  • Developing and enforcing compliance with cybersecurity frameworks such as Essential 8 and ISO27001
  • Conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
  • Reviewing firewalls and security policies
  • Providing security awareness training
  • Identifying and mitigating general security risks

The ideal candidate will have experience in cybersecurity consulting, auditing against security frameworks, and assisting organizations develop security improvement plans. They should also have experience working in an organization with ISO27001 certification.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

  • Cybersecurity consulting experience
  • Audit and review experience against cybersecurity frameworks
  • Experience in developing security improvement roadmaps
  • ISO27001 certification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously across teams

This role requires effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a billable hour environment.
