Procurement specialists play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of critical Defence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including managing evaluations and conducting supplier negotiations.
  • Work closely with subcontractors to ensure project delivery is on time, within budget, and aligned with program objectives.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure compliance and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with program objectives.
  • Support the preparation of procurement documentation, including statements of work, tender evaluation plans, and contract terms.

Our team requires expertise in vendor management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation. This position supports large-scale infrastructure/construction programs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Negotiate contracts that meet business needs while minimizing risk.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Manage procurement processes from initial planning through to delivery.
  • Work with internal teams to develop strategic procurement plans that align with business goals.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in procurement within the Defence sector.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
