Financial Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled financial specialist to support our organisation's financial management and compliance.

The role requires the ability to enter financial transactions into accounting software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Cross-checking financial records with bank statements and source documents is also an essential task.

Responsibilities of the Financial Specialist Role
  • Enter financial transactions into accounting software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Cross-check financial records with bank statements and source documents to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Record and process donations in line with regulatory requirements and supporter expectations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records to comply with audit standards and finance best practices.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks, including processing invoices and payments promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement and improve finance processes.
Requirements for the Financial Specialist Role
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in general accounting and bookkeeping, as well as expense and accounts payable ledger management.
  • A good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
