Green Space Maintainer

We are seeking an experienced Green Space Maintainer to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the village grounds, gardens, and outdoor areas to uphold high presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining lawns, trimming garden edges, watering, propagating, pruning plants, and mulching.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the village remains well-maintained and safe.
  • Responding promptly to gardening requests and projects in accordance with procedures.
  • Managing rubbish bin placement and waste disposal tasks.
  • Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in gardening or grounds maintenance.
  • A strong understanding of horticultural practices and plant care.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain high standards of presentation.
  • A customer-focused mindset, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage positively with residents and colleagues.
  • Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move up to 15kg.
