At Levande, we're committed to creating vibrant and supportive communities that help people live well. We're currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Gardener to join our team full-time at Pine Lake Village Elanora, one of our beautiful retirement communities located.

About the Role

Working 2 days per week, your schedule will be:

  • Monday and Tuesdays 8:30am to 4:36pm

As our Gardener, you'll play a key role in ensuring our village grounds are safe, clean, and beautifully presented. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing a variety of gardening tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, watering and planting
  • Undertaking regular maintenance of gardens, lawns, paths, and communal outdoor areas
  • Managing rubbish bin placement and waste disposal
  • Maintaining and safely operating gardening equipment and tools
  • Responding to ad hoc maintenance or gardening requests in line with resident needs and village standards

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • At least 1 year of gardening, groundskeeping, or landscape maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of horticultural practices and plant care
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative to maintain high presentation standards
  • A customer-friendly approach and strong interpersonal skills
  • Physical capability to undertake manual tasks (up to 15kg lifting)
  • Experience in residential communities, retirement villages, schools or commercial grounds will be highly regarded.
