Job Title:

Disability Support Worker

Job Description:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be providing care and supports to participants as detailed in their support plans. This role requires a high level of empathy and understanding, allowing you to build strong relationships with individuals and their families.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar qualification, and experience working with people with disability. You will need to be reliable, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

You will also need to possess a current Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate. A Driver's Licence is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care and supports to participants
  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as hygiene and mobility
  • Supporting participants to achieve their goals and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar qualification
  • Experience working with people with disability
  • Current Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate
  • Driver's Licence (preferred)
