
Electrical Systems Expert Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned expert in electrical systems to lead our power systems team. As a Power Systems Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced solutions for clients across the Australian and Asia Pacific regions.
Your primary responsibilities will include leading technical projects, developing Owner's standard requirements, reviewing technical submissions from OEM vendors and EPC Contractors, and coordinating with local and international experts. You will also be responsible for managing project timelines, quality, and financial aspects to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and implement electrical system designs for large-scale generator interconnections in onshore and offshore environments.
- Ensure compliance with local networks and requirements, including engineering principles and codes and standards related to the power systems environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, conveying technical knowledge effectively through clear communication.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Eng., BS or MS) and Chartered Professional Engineering certification (highly preferred).
- Extensive experience in electrical systems and components in an Australian context.
- Expertise in project development stages, including siting, feasibility, conceptual design, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), procurement, and EPC delivery.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to communicate effectively with employees and clients, resolve conflicts, and foster an environment of continuous learning and development.
