EOI - Casual Sessional Teacher - Bootcamp & Studios

RMIT University is seeking passionate and experienced casual sessional teachers to join our team in the School of Computing Technologies. As a casual sessional teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach and/or mark courses in our Bootcamp and Studios programs.
About the Role
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about teaching and have a strong background in computer science, cloud and security, data science, and artificial intelligence. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering teaching and/or marking for our courses, which include Programming Bootcamp 1, Programming Bootcamp 2, Programming Studio 1, Programming Studio 2, Web Programming Bootcamp, and Web Programming Studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and/or mark courses in our Bootcamp and Studios programs
- Prepare and deliver high-quality teaching and/or marking materials
- Engage students in an enthusiastic, concise, and informative manner
- Grade student assessment and provide appropriate feedback
- Work effectively as part of a team
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of Bachelor (Honours)
- Evidence of teaching ability and the capacity to engage students
- Demonstrable ability to teach in a collaborative bootcamp and studio environment
- Demonstrable ability to grade student assessment and provide feedback
- Demonstrable knowledge of requisite content, research, and writing skills for course/s taught
- Effective interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication
- Demonstrable ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Prior experience in teaching or marking in computer science, cloud and security, data science, and artificial intelligence related areas
