IC Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IC Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing testing of cryogenic integrated circuits. This is a critical role in supporting the development of our technical roadmap and contributing to the delivery of our quantum computing solutions.

• Plan, develop, and implement testing of cryogenic integrated circuits
• Contribute to test software frameworks and tool development
• Maintain test data archive and contribute to database development and maintenance
• Process, translate, and present test data for both specialist and non-specialist stakeholders
• Design and co-ordinate fabrication of test PCBs, and design and validate test setups for both cryogenic and room-temperature testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve faults in electronic test setups
• Provide regular reporting on the progress of development and testing projects against technical milestones
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to develop general use capabilities for device test
• Contribute to a positive team culture and foster a collaborative working environment

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years experience in electronics and/or IC testing
• Experience with developing firmware and software for controlling test and measurement equipment
• Strong independent problem-solving skills with comprehensive knowledge of electronics troubleshooting
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to self-manage, prioritize between tasks, and deliver high-quality results
• Knowledge of quantum technologies is desirable
• Knowledge of low-noise cryogenic measurements is desirable
• Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities, and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training
