About the Role

The University of Adelaide is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in the Curriculum Domain. As a key member of our Integration Management Office (IMO), you will play a critical role in leading and executing complex projects that drive transformational change within the university.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and effective management of program deliverables, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Lead project management governance structures and forums, promoting a shared IMO project management approach.
  • Apply and promote the use of prescribed systems, templates, reports, and document storage to support project management.
  • Direct, line manage, and coordinate IMO staff as required, to support program activity.
  • Onboard, support, and enable subject matter experts to provide input into program activity.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Postgraduate qualifications in project management or extensive relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and executing substantial and complex learning technology projects, involving large numbers of diverse stakeholders, multiple tasks in parallel with competing deadlines and changing priorities.
  • A demonstrated commitment to contributing to and translating strategic business needs, ability to conceptualise problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including capacity to work collaboratively and effectively with extensive and diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence managers and staff with tact and diplomacy.
