About the JobThis role is an exciting opportunity to enhance your nursing skills and knowledge in a dynamic acute general surgical ward. As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a supportive team environment.
The successful applicant will have at least one year of acute nursing experience and a strong motivation for continued professional development. They will also be able to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative team.
Program Details- The Transition to Specialty Practice (TSP) program is a 12-month supported position that aims to build on your knowledge and skills through online content, face-to-face study days, and clinical support.
- You will gain specialist knowledge and skills caring for acute general surgical patients across the in-patient ward.
A comprehensive orientation to the ward will be provided, including supernumerary shifts in your initial transition to the program. You will have access to an online training program via GROW and be supported by the Clinical Education Team and a dedicated ward-based preceptor.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this role, you must be a registered nurse with minimum one year acute nursing experience and/or completion of a graduate year.
