We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced psychiatrist to join our team as a clinical leader in mental health. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and the ability to provide leadership and guidance to our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical services to mental health consumers, including individual and group therapy sessions.
- Lead and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring they are evidence-based and aligned with best practice.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, including registrars and trainee medical officers.
- Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Contribute to research and education activities, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in mental health and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
- MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
- Demonstrated ongoing participation in continuing professional development.
