About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Partner Consultant. As a key member of our Partner Sales channel, you will play a critical role in supporting accounting and bookkeeping firms in their migration to the Xero platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert pre-sales technical demonstrations of the Xero platform to shape and close pre-qualified deals.
  • Work closely with Sales teams to develop business plans for Partners and sales plans for the territory.
  • Implement online strategies developed in conjunction with Account Managers for each Partner.
  • Engage in regular meetings with territory sales staff to agree sales and project priorities.
  • Assist Partners with data conversions through detailed project planning and training guidance.
  • Handle Partner technical queries and escalations, and educate Partners on available resources.
  • Update CRM systems with client communications, including calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems of practice staff and contact details.
  • Respond to Partner enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Manage the creation of resources for frequently asked questions from Partners.

Requirements:

  • Intimate knowledge of accounting practices and related systems.
  • Training experience and accounting software knowledge.
  • Exposure to financial reporting, tax returns, and compliance work.
  • Understanding of CRM systems.
  • Passion for SaaS and the online accounting market.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a strong ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to create a quick and strong rapport with Partners.
  • Loads of initiative and ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Process-driven mindset and passion for making a difference.
