Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Events and Activities Coordinator to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

You will work collaboratively with the Community Manager to run scheduled events, activities, and village services for the residents. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a new role or change their career path within the aged care industry.

This role involves delivering fun, inclusive, and exciting events to the residents based on the calendar schedule, as well as promoting independence, learning new hobbies, and enabling social connections. You will be the welcoming face to all new residents in the community, ensuring they are engaged and supported in their transition.

The successful candidate will have experience in the Aged Care or Retirement Living industry, a genuine interest in improving the lives of seniors, and high levels of communication and organization skills. They will also possess a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or Certificate III in Individual Support, a current COVID-19 vaccination, police check clearance, and first aid and CPR certification.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in Aged Care or Retirement Living industry (desired but not essential)
  • Genuine interest in improving the lives of seniors
  • High levels of communication and organization skills
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or Certificate III in Individual Support (desired but not essential)
