Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Platform Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the AFP's Business Intelligence capability, specifically focusing on platform administration and data engineering.

Your primary duties will include:
  • Maintenance of the SAS Platform through first-level platform administration.
  • Complex system administration including troubleshooting and leading SAS Firefly problem resolution.
  • Deriving security requirements from business teams and implementing appropriate security models.
  • Documentation of technical SOPs.
  • Raise and present technical changes in appropriate forums.
  • Ability to build and maintain complex data pipelines using SAS toolsets.
  • Validating SAS ETL and analytical outputs of team members to ensure appropriate quality control.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • Relevant qualification or extensive experience and knowledge in the area of expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in the Platform Administration/Data Engineering domains.
  • Experience with SAS administration.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders.
