Job Title: Environmental Geochemist

We are seeking a skilled Geochemical Specialist to join our team, working on diverse projects geographically and technically across Australia and internationally.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in geochemical investigations and studies, with a strong understanding of acid rock drainage and related fields.

Key responsibilities include planning, executing, and interpreting geochemical investigations and studies, as well as characterizing mine waste and assessing water quality.

Reporting to Principal Engineers, the successful candidate will support projects through development phases, from early-stage assessments to closure.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, executing, and interpreting geochemical investigations and studies
  • Characterisation of mine waste
  • Water quality assessments
  • Predictive modelling of environmental impacts
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams and clients

Requirements:

  • 10-15+ years' experience in environmental geochemistry
  • Technical expertise in acid rock drainage and related fields
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Solid understanding of geochemical processes
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Geochemistry, Geology, or a related field
