This role is ideal for an experienced civil engineer with strong ties to the Geelong region, seeking a challenging and rewarding project management position.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to lead our civil engineering projects in land development, subdivision, commercial buildings and infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing teams of engineers and technicians, as well as proven financial and commercial acumen. They will also be able to deliver complex projects on time and within budget, while ensuring excellent client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company policies.
- Maintain open communication channels with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in civil project management, with a focus on land development and infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
