Acute Hospital Physiotherapist Role

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated physiotherapists to fill various roles in our acute hospital setting.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality assessment, treatment, and discharge planning with a focus on quality, safety, and patient outcomes across inpatient acute wards including ICU, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, and neuro/medical wards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized physiotherapy treatment programs to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with Allied Health staff to ensure effective care delivery and rehabilitation goals.
- Work under the guidance of the Physiotherapy Manager and Department Manager to ensure high-quality patient care aligns with our values and strategy.
- Tertiary qualification in physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum 12 months of experience as a physiotherapist in an acute hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
