About Our Opportunity:

Our Surgical Vision Team in Brisbane is looking for a skilled professional to join us as a Territory Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities with ophthalmologists across the territory to meet sales targets and increase market share.

As the subject matter expert across our range of cataract surgery devices, you will be responsible for the successful performance of the territory through effective business planning, building strong long-term partnerships with eye specialists and driving sales for our range of cataract surgery devices including intraocular lenses, phacoemulsification machines and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales revenue and increase market share by promoting and selling our range of surgical vision products to key eye specialists in assigned territory
  • Act as a consultant and trusted cataract partner, providing clinical support during procedures and in-service training and education to new users on the proper use of our specialized surgical products and equipment
  • Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with marketing, professional education etc. to progress commercial and KOL plans with target customers
  • Manage customer queries and resolve customer issues/complaints as it arises, and monitor competitor activity and market trends, recommending solutions and implementing corrective actions as required
  • Maintain a high level of surgical and industry knowledge relevant to the role

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification within business/medical/health sciences or related fields, and minimum 3+ years medical device or hospital pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Strong interest in ophthalmology; demonstrated track record of commercial achievements and desire to grow business and market share
  • Commercial acumen, and positive can-do attitude to achieving results
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to influence different stakeholders and build long-term relationships
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team with strong organisation skills
