
Customer Service Liaison

This is a part-time customer support liaison role that involves providing administrative assistance to a student services team. The successful candidate will handle front desk duties and perform various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, agents, and visitors
- Answer phone calls, transfer calls, and take messages
- Prepare new student orientation and intake documents
- Support local teams with the weekly orientation process for new students
- Manage textbook inventory and distribution
- Update academic management systems and learner management systems
- Help students with login issues to a learning platform
- Prepare graduation certificates and letters of completion
- Order and manage stationery and school supplies
- Maintain the cleanliness of the campus premises
- Attend general staff meetings and training sessions as needed
Administrative Duties:
- Manage student placements in an information system
- Program a software tool across all campuses
- Ensure standardized coding for all classes
- Liaise with Local and National Academic Teams
- Generate and distribute weekly student intake reports
- Ensure accurate storage of student information
- Action student requests through an online portal
- Support National Compliance and National Academic Teams
- Issue Academic Enrolment Letters
Requirements:
- Certificate and/or Diploma in business administration, marketing, customer service, or relevant fields
- Effective written and oral communication in English
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems
- Proven skills in customer service
- Able to respond promptly to inquiries and work collaboratively with other departments
- Flexible, negotiable, and problem-solver
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Manage time and systems, plan, organize, and prioritize tasks
- Patient, empathetic, and approachable
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
- Maintain composure and professional behavior under pressure
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years' experience in customer-facing roles
- Full work rights for Australia required
Other Requirements:
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
