The ideal candidate will become part of a dynamic school leadership team, working collaboratively with an experienced teaching staff to provide high-quality learning and extracurricular opportunities.

Our Approach

We are committed to elevating student behavior, empathy, and relationships through restorative practices. Our school focuses on establishing high-quality literacy practices and routines across prep to Year 6. We utilize multi-tiered systems of support to provide a team approach to student engagement, behavior, and rigor for all students.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Improve the educational outcomes of students in their schools
  2. Develop the quality of teaching and learning
  3. Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, the community, and stakeholders

The Deputy Principal reports to the school Principal and is responsible for leading various activities and delivering key tasks, including:

  • Assisting the Principal in leading the school community to develop, articulate, and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students
  • Deputizing for the Principal when required
  • Upholding the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral activity
  • Embedding socially just practices in daily school life
  • Setting high standards for student and staff performance
  • Actively participating in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development
  • Forming partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry, and business
  • Being futures-oriented and strategic
  • Understanding the legislation and policies that impact on schooling
  • Managing resources to achieve goals
